Terms and Conditions:

The Playful Pooch Dogcare requires all new pooches to complete a free, 2 hour Come and Try session before regular bookings can commence.

Current vaccination certificate needs to be uploaded, and Terms & Conditions signed online, in order to attend at The Playful Pooch.

Aggressive dogs, or dogs that are illegal in this state, are not accepted.

​

Puppies are accepted from 4 calendar months of age with current vaccinations.

​

No daycare drop offs after 12pm.

​

Your booking is charged from the time you arrive i.e. if you have a half day booking, you will need to pick up your pooch 5 hours (or earlier) from your drop off time. Service outside booking hours will be charged accordingly.

To ensure the best and safest possible experience for our clients, we do have a few rules.

• All dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the building.

• All dogs must be kept under control in our Shop / Reception area. The cost of damaged stock is the pet owner's responsibility.

• No children under 15yrs are permitted in the pooch play area.

• All pooches must be accompanied by a human 15yrs or older.

• Please keep your arms and hands clear of the fences, and do not enter through the play area gates - a staff member will assess which area is best for your pooch to enter and then let your pooch through.

• All owners are required to fill in a Customer Portal registration (click 'bookings' on our webpage and follow the prompts).

• All dogs are required to be up to date with vaccinations. Puppies are accepted from 4 calendar months old. Proof of vaccination needs to be provided for our records, and updated annually.​

• Dogs must be spayed/neutered at 12 months (no exceptions). Proof of desexing needs to be provided for our records.

• Bookings are essential - no walk ins accepted. If you require an emergency booking, please call us or message us on Facebook.

• Daycare and Grooming cancelations and rescheduling must be made by 6pm the prior day (at the latest) or a $10.00 fee is issued-NO EXCEPTIONS.

• I declare that my dog is in good health, is not injured, and has not shown aggression or threatening behaviour to any person or dog.  I agree to inform THE PLAYFUL POOCH DOGCARE of any changes to these circumstances immediately.

• I understand that THE PLAYFUL POOCH DOGCARE, their owners, staff, partners and volunteers, are not liable, financially or otherwise, for injuries to my dog, myself or any property of mine while my dog is participating in services provided by THE PLAYFUL POOCH DOGCARE. I hereby release THE PLAYFUL POOCH DOGCARE of any liability of any kind arising from my dog’s participation in any and all services provided by THE PLAYFUL POOCH DOGCARE.

• I understand that any problems with my dog; behavioural, medical or otherwise, will be treated as deemed best practice by staff of THE PLAYFUL POOCH DOGCARE. I understand that I assume full financial responsibility for any and all expenses involved in regards to the behaviour and health of my dog.

• I understand that there are risks and benefits associated with group socialization of dogs.  I understand that while the socialization and play is closely monitored by THE PLAYFUL POOCH DOGCARE staff to prevent injury, it is still possible that my dog may receive minor nicks and scratches from rough housing with other dogs.  Any injuries to my dog will be pointed out by staff upon pick-up.

• I understand that I am solely responsible, financially or otherwise, for any harm or damage caused by my dog attending any services provided by THE PLAYFUL POOCH DOGCARE.

• I understand the safety of THE PLAYFUL POOCH staff, all pooches in attendance, and visiting customers is of high importance. THE PLAYFUL POOCH DOGCARE reserves the right to refuse daycare for any pooch that injures our staff, another pooch, or visitor; any pooch that jumps over our fences; or any customer that displays poor and or aggressive behaviour.

• I understand that if my dog is not picked up on time or by a date specified in a separate agreement, I authorise THE PLAYFUL POOCH DOGCARE to take any action necessary for the continuing care of my dog.  I understand that if I do not pick up my dog without notice beforehand, THE PLAYFUL POOCH DOGCARE will consider the dog abandoned and proceed to inform the council or to take my dog to the R.S.P.C.A.  I understand I am financially responsible for any costs incurred and will make payment upon demand.

• I understand The Playful Pooch Dogcare takes photographs of all pooches in attendance for posting on social media and marketing purposes. No names of pooches or client personal information is ever shared.

 

**Ensuring that your dog remains safe and well cared for is our first and primary responsibility.

In the event of a medical emergency while at our facility, or participating in a service that we provide, your dog will be rushed to the closest available licensed veterinary facility for treatment and you will then be notified.
All costs involved in the undertaking of the above are the financial responsibility of the owner.
